At 22, TCMA Award winner Chip Darby is bringing a young voice, an old-school country soul, and extraordinary guitar ability to the stage.

Based in Southeast Texas, Chip is a singer-songwriter delivering a powerful blend of traditional country, outlaw country and Southern rock, backed by the seasoned musicians of Vintage Soul.

Chip's musical ability became apparent early. After only a handful of guitar lessons, Chip taught himself music theory, the Nashville Number System and developed his skills by studying legendary artists including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Brad Paisley  and B.B. King.

Today, those who have heard him play often refer to Chip as a guitar prodigy—a young musician whose natural ability and feel for the instrument set him apart.

A prolific songwriter, Chip has already written 30+ original songs and released singles including Out on the Water and Warning Signs. His music carries the authenticity of classic country while his live show delivers the energy, musicianship and personality of a modern touring artist.

From honky-tonks and dance halls to festivals, resorts and opening slots, Chip Darby & The Vintage Soul Band bring a full-band experience built to move a crowd and keep them engaged.

With new music on the way and Nashville firmly in his sights, Chip is building something bigger with every song, every show and every mile down the road.
